The Mandeville Branch (844 Girod St.) will undergo major renovations starting on October 12th. The renovations include updated bathrooms, new carpet, refreshed furniture, upgraded internet, and addressing a water intrusion issue with a redesigned front atrium.

The branch will remain open during construction, but patrons must use the side parking lot entrance starting October 5th.

The renovations are planned to be completed by early 2027.

Meet the Author: Donald G. Redman

Join us at the Slidell Branch on Tuesday, October 20th, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to meet local author Donald G. Redman and discuss his debut novel, Travis Moon and the Ghost Train.

This heartfelt tale blurs the lines between reality and fantasy, following a young man who uncovers a magical train community to reunite lost loved ones.
