For Adults, the Abita Springs Branch will host a felt heart sewing craft on Feb. 13, and the Lacombe Branch will offer a heart garland craft event.

Various crafts for younger patrons will be offered including decorating Valentine's gingerbread men, a heart windsock craft, Q-Tip heart art, and a make-your-own Valentine.
The Teen Services Department is hosting “Teen Palentine’s Day” on Saturday, Feb. 15. Teens are invited to bring a “palentine” — such as a parent, grandparent, guardian, or adult mentor — for a special event that includes a dating safety seminar, mini chair yoga session, and chocolate tasting.
In addition to in-person events, patrons can use online services for free with their library card like Hoopla, Libby, and Creativebug, allowing them to stream romantic comedies, listen to romance audiobooks, or get creative with DIY Valentine’s crafts.
